This is a mint in box (overall in excellent condition) set of The Adventures of Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark action figures, released by Kenner in 1982. These are 27 years old and have been in our collection for about 10 years. These are very rare, especially a complete set like this. Extreme rarity and great investment for Lord of the Rings collectors … the COMPLETE set of Knickerbocker’s 1979 Lord of the Rings!!! 6 figures and 2 horses. 5 of the figures come in acrylic caseing. I purchased the casings first before the figures, as I wanted them still carded. I’ve only removed them from their casings a couple of times to show collectors. I’ve never had the set officially graded but many in the toy business have said it’s a rare and great conditioned set. It took a good 10+ years of searching and bidding to complete the set. I’ve also included 2 posters and 5 figures from the “Middle-earth” line of toys. Here’s what you get… Frodo, still carded. The bubble is still nice and tight. The bottom left corner of the card under the figure does have some wrinckling, as the photos show, but the bubble is still firmly attached to the card. The card under Frodo does have a little wave to it, but visible if you remove it from its casing. The other corners are still very nice with very minor tiny creases. Overall the card is in great condition, for 1979. Samwise, still carded and unpunched. The card does have some wrinckles on the bottom left corner under the figure and the corner of the bubble has slightly come off the card, but the rest of the bubble is still nicely sealed. There is still a price sticker on the card. The corner of the card under the figure does have some wrinkling. The other corners have very slight creases. The card, if viewed from the side, does have some monor bowing to it but the card sides are still nice and clean. Again like Frodo’s, it’s visible if you remove it from its casing. Gandalf, still carded. Bubble is still nicely sealed. Card does have some minor wrinkles on the bottom left corner under the figure. The card on the bottom right corner does have some minor creases. There is a marking on the card on the top right front of the card that looks like there was a price tag removed, but no severe damage to the card, and the corner is clean. Gandalf has no yellowing to him. I made sure when I purchased him he would not see the sun. Aragorn, still carded and unpunched. The card is in great condition with clean edges and sides. The bubble on the top right has some minor lift off the card and the bubble down by his feet is a little warped. The figure can not be removed, as the rest of the bubble is still nicely sealed to the card. Ringwraith, still carded and unpunched. This card is fantastic and looks to be brand new. The edges are clean with no wrinkles or creases. The bubble is still firmly attached. The one flaw is to the top left of the bubble. It looks as if pressure was put to the bubble causing it to wrinkle. NO damage to the figure. Bubble also has the ever so popular hole on the top of the bubble caused by the figures horn on the top of his head. Not uncommon. A great piece. Gollum, loose. Tried to get a carded version but settled for this loose one. Does have some minor faded green color on his waiste. Figure is in good condition over all with all limbs and head still firmly attached. Ringwraith Charger, loose. A VERY HARD to find piece…complete!! This horse has all the attachments: saddle, battle shield, and reins. The only flaw with this is the reins are broken where the piece goes into his mouth. But it still sits well on the horse. See the photos. The shield is great condition and hangs off the side of the saddle. The horse is in FANTASTIC condition with very minor aging (and I do mean minor) No scratches or severe markings to the horse. Almost in brand new condition. Another great hard to find piece!! Frodo’s horse, carded but with bubble halfway unattached from card so horse can be removed. That’s how I purchased it. The card does have some wrinkling to the edges but overall not too bad. The sides are still straight with no extreme bowing to the card. Unfortunately the horse does have some yellowing to it. Again, this is how I purchased the horse. Because of the rarity of this piece with its card is difficult to find I had to purchase it. I made sure it saw no more sunlight. It comes complete with reins and saddle. Still a great and hard piece to find. I’ve also included 5 figures from the “Middle-earth” line of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. I started to collect these when I found about their release. But never followed to collect them all. They are all in nice new condition with clean cards and firm edges, and all bubbles still attached. You get, Frodo in Lorien, Gandalf the Grey, Ugluk on the Hunt, Balrog of Khazad-dim, and the (boxed) Lord of the Nazgul. Box is in great new condition. None of these figures have been opened or removed from card. Also 2 posters in great condition. I purchased them years back when I was searching for the figures. One is the The Hobbit, 36″x24″ and the other is the Lord of the Rings 40″x27″. There is some minor small tears on some of the side to each poster but nothing extreme. I never displayed them and I have them still rolled. I will mail these 2 posters separate in a tube so I don’t have to fold them. Overall a great and hard to find COMPLETE set, with a few added extras. As other collectors have told me for a set that is 30 years old it’s extremely rare to be in this great condition. An investment that will only go up in value. I took great effort to take care of them and made sure they were displayed protectively away from sun and harmfull lighting. I tried to give some good pictures as I could for you, but I’ll answer any questions you may have. I only displayed 12 pictures but I have a couple of others of Frodo’s Horse, Samwise, Ringwraith, and Frodo. If you want to see them I can email them to you. They come from a smoke (and child) free home.
