The figure itself looks pretty cool, with He-Man’s Power Sword being powered by batteries inserted into the back of the figure.  Although it does look a little too “Sci-Fi” in my opinion, with the huge battery pack. Also, instead of the the basic original He-Man head, this figure had a a completely new head sculpt, inspired in part by He-Man’s appearance in the 1987 movie.

If you’re looking for a copy, it won’t come cheap. Loose copies can easily sell for over $100.00 – without all the accessories. With a day left, that auction is at $91.65. Given the fact that there are no complete auctions in eBay’s history, it will fetch a pretty hefty price.

For those of you that have a hefty wallet however, you could pick up an AFA Graded Copy for $1,999.95.00.

As for myself, I’m just adding this to my ever growing list of things to be on the lookout for at flea markets and yard sales.

The figures are in great shape but do not likely include all original accessories. I will however being throwing in a number of vehicles, accessories, stands and comics that I didn’t put in the pictures. All series are represented including all the Marvel Legends series by both Toy Biz and Hasbro, including box sets and exclusives. Also included are a number of Marvel Select, Spiderman Classic, X-man Classic, Hulk Classic and Fantastic Four Classic figures. There are seriously a ton of variants and rare figures in this auction, many that sell for $30+ plus individually on ebay everyday. To give you an idea of the depth of this collection, there are figures from Series 1 (Captain America with shield, two different versions of the Hulk), figures from the Hasbro Waves (Ultimate Wolverine, Ultimate Iron Man, Planet Hulk, etc.), even the very recent Ronan Fantastic Four Series (Thing, Silver Surfer, Namor). There are also several Marvel Select figures (Green Goblin, Spiderman, Ghost Rider, etc.), Box sets (Franklin Richards, Vulture, Venom, Elektra etc.), F4 Classics (Super Skrull + more), XMen Classics (Wolverine, Beast, etc.), Hulk Classics (Absorbing Man, She-Hulk, etc.), Spider Man Classics (Rhino, Hobgoblin, Doctor Octopus, etc.). and tons of variants (Baron Zemo unmasked, Abomination burnt face, Wolverine unmasked, Red Iron Fist, Green First Appearance Hulk, Green Goblin unmasked, X-Factor Cyclops, 3 different versions of Sentry, many, many, many more….

I’d consider the BIN of $2,999.99 a little over priced, but the $625.00 opening BID could be a great deal for someone.
